ABOUT ME

I'm Melissa, originally from Forbes NSW. I've moved around from Forbes to Bathurst, Tamworth, Huskisson, Mollymook and now back in my hometown of Forbes. I studied Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Business Management) at CSU and for the past five years work as a Hotel Accountant remotely from my home office. Although great at what I do, I also often wish I had studied something creative at uni! This blog is my chance to get that underlying creative side out and to keep me motivated.

MY FAMILY

I live with my two darling children, ,William and Hannah. William is going to be 3 this March (2013) and Hannah is 18 months old. William & Hannah bring so much love and laughter (oh & stress haha) to my life. I'm an ultra busy single mum, but loving life and what we manage to fit into our days. I'm sure I'll share more on my family throughout the blog. Meanwhile, here's a picture of my beautiful babies.

 

 

 

MY BLOG

Launched in October 2012, I'm planning to blog everything and anything. No real plans here, but to document my life, all that I come across & my creative pursuits! I enjoy anything from painting, drawing, sewing, jewellery making and of course most of all, time with my family.

THINGS I LOVE

I love my family, friends, art & design, sewing, crafting, taking art classes (currently doing Flora Bowley Bloom True e-course), reading magazines, shoes, handbags, jewellery, coffee, tea, chocolate, Sydney weekend getaways, roadtrips, my ipad, the internet, the beach (to look at not to swim, weird I know!), mothers group, pinterest... shall I go on? This list is constantly evolving, and I'm loving life exploring it all.
